Woof Fest: Paws for Pride

Celebrate Pride – a celebration for ALL – including your pets, with Manhattan West Woof Fest: Paws for Pride! Guests are invited to come out to Manhattan West Plaza with their dogs for a colorful afternoon of amazing performances, fabulous activities, and marvelous treats. Humans and canines alike will enjoy a live program of performances by award-winning and queerly-situated Circus Amok and activities that range from pet tarot card readings to rainbow pawdicures. Attire is encouraged that captures guests’ and their furry friends’ true colors and commemorates Pride. Visitors can also pick up a rainbow bandana upon arrival. Activities include:

• Performances by Circus Amok (Beginning at 12:15 p.m., 1:20 p.m. and 2:30p.m.): This NYC-based circus-theater company will bring its funny and queer one-ring spectacles to Woof Fest! Host Jennifer Miller and company will entertain guests with comedy, juggling, stilt walking, acrobatics, unicycle riding, and a live band.
• Pup Psychic: Visitors can see into their dogs’ future – or past! Psychics will perform tarot card and crystal ball readings for dogs.
• Pawdicures: Pet stylists will give dogs special painted nails for Pride. Using dog-friendly polish, each nail will be painted a different color to make a rainbow!
• Pet Caricatures: Talented artists will create hand-drawn caricatures of dogs.
• Photo Op: Call the pup-a-razzi! Pups and their humans are invited to capture an Instagrammable moment alongside a variety of queer icons.
• Treat Table – Your furry companion can sample a variety of flavored bones and dog treats (and their humans can enjoy all of the amazing dining options at Manhattan West!)
• There will also be a mini dog run, as well as fun giveaways (for dogs and their humans), while supplies last.

Free advanced registration on Eventbrite is recommended. Walk-ins are welcome if space is available.
