The Kong Show: Spooktacular Comedy Variety Show

This is Ella ‘Miz E with a Z’ and Powell ‘Chuck E Baby’, the coproducers of Powella Production’s Kong Show. He’s Powell. I’m Ella. Together we’re Powella Productions!

We produce  “The Kong Show” live sketch comedy variety shows and “The Kong Show on TV” our web sitcom on YouTube and on LiveONE TV.

We were recently voted the best comedy variety show by BOAST: The Best of Astoria & LIC.

We would like to invite you to be a guest at one of our upcoming events. A live taping of “The Kong Show on TV!”

We make events. We provide opportunities for performers to network and also promote local businesses.

Let us know if you would like to attend the October show. It is a networking event, on Tuesday, October 25th at 7pm at Cronin and Phelan’s in Astoria. We’re filming the show at 7pm in Cronin and Phelan’s private event room, with Emmy Award winning filmmaker, Tom Bibla.

You are welcome to arrive early at 6pm to have a drink at the bar, with magic served up by Stand Up Comedy Magician and bartender, Irish Dave Cremin, who was featured in the New York Times.  Also, simultaneously, and at the same time, LOL!, You are invited to, while having a drink at the bar, join in on a virtual  show, Tuesday Night Magic Theater. Zoom in from your phone, to watch magicians from all over the world with Tommy Burnett’s Tuesday Night Magic Theater at 6pm (Must get the link for a FREE virtual seat in advance at http://www.ticketsource.us/tommyburnettproductions)

Then join us live in person at 7pm, in Cronin and Phelan’s private party room, for the live show “The Kong Show: Spooktacular”

“The Kong Show: Spooktacular!” with a special appearance by our favorite bartender and magician Standup Comedy Magic Dave Cremin. He makes the drinks appear; you magically make the drinks disappear!

Plus, one of our all-time favorites, a Magician of the Year, seen on PIX 11, the Kongtastic Rene Clement. And we are excited to have joining us Bobby Torkova, who you may have seen on Penn & Teller’s “Fool Us!”

Also stepping up to the stage, from the Broadway Comedy Club, actress, comedian Alexis Mundy. And, comedian Ann Van Epps, who is stopping by from her Annie in the City tour. Plus, joining us as a LionHearted Sketch Comedy Player, with Powell Leonard, we welcome actress Rachel Marcus.

Plus, be on the lookout on Tuesday, October 25th for VIP audience members like Phil Cappadora from the Astoria Filmmakers Club (AFC).  We are excited to be cross promoting with AFC and are extending an invitation to mix and mingle directly after our one-hour 7pm show in the private party room at Cronin and Phelans on Tuesday.
