WHAT: Klavierhaus and the Luce Group proudly present the first annual New York Jazz Piano Festival at Klavierhaus Pianos, 790 11th Avenue at 55th Street in Midtown Manhattan.

WHEN: January 13 – 16, 2023 A total of 27 Concerts spanning 4 afternoons and evenings featuring elite New York jazz pianists will take place.

JAZZ PIANO IN NEW YORK CITY

The words “jazz” & “piano” have special meaning here in New York – the jazz capital of the world”, said Jim Luce, executive producer of the festival.” We honor the shrines of New York solo piano music that sustained the solo piano genre over the last 50 years, including, Bradleys, Zinno, Knickerbocker, Tin Palace, Village Vanguard, Sweet Basil, Jazz Forum, Fat Tuesdays, Mezzrow, Smoke, Smalls, Zinc Bar, Le Poisson Rouge, Cafe Society, The Cookery, Birdland, The Jazz Gallery and others. One only has to delve back into recent jazz history to find vibrant pockets of enthusiasm where listeners and players alike come together to worship at the altar of the grand piano, and we present this festival to honor and continue this tradition of jazz piano in New York City.”
