The year is 2800. Stand up comedy has been extinct for many centuries after being destroyed back in the early 2000s by social media crowd work clips and rampant capitalism.

Thankfully Griffin and Nathan, two dutiful researchers at the Government Archives of Panterrania (The G.A.P.), have been hard at work converting records of the last generation of comedians into holograms. Now we may enjoy a simulation of what we believe a live stand up comedy show might have been like back in the 2000s. Praise to the Panterranian Authority!

Unfamiliar with what stand up comedy is? Feel free to learn more HERE.

This presentation’s comedian hologram recreations will include:

Martin Urbano (The Tonight Show, Comedy Central)

Sara Hennessy (Just For Laughs, Vulture)

Jake Cornell (Edinburgh Fringe Festival, The Cut)

Sureni Weerasekera (New York Comedy Festival, Amazon Prime Video)

The doors at Crystal Lake will open at 7:00pm and the presentation will commence around 7:30pm. Tickets are available for $10 in advance or $15 at the door.

Brought to you by Queer & Now Comedy in collaboration of the benevolent Panterranian Authority!
