Team KB Valentine’s Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser 2-11-23

All Saints Episcopal Church will host a Valentine’s Day-themed spaghetti dinner to raise funds to support one of its young parishioners and her family on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. in its Common Room at 214-35 40^th Avenue in Bayside.  Tickets for the event are $35 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under.

Queens native, current New Jersey resident and lifelong member of All Saints, 14 year-old Kristen Belle (KB) Tonnesen suffered a cardiac arrest due to complications from influenza on New Years Day.  She is now on her long journey to recovery, currently at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan and then an acute rehabilitation facility.

The proceeds of “Team KB’s Valentine’s Spaghetti Dinner” will help her family with medical bills and other expenses related to her recovery.  The dinner will include three courses — salad, the main spaghetti and meatball dinner course and dessert.  Beverages (coffee, tea and soft drinks) will be included.  It will also feature live music from The Nice Guys — a homegrown Queens band featuring Tom Espenshade, Artie Chenault, Dan Bosko and Allan Sanchez.  Donating their time, the band will perform favorites such as Three Little Birds, You’ve Got a Friend and A Little Help From My Friends.
