This OHNY weekend (10-22/10-23), the Swedish Cottage staff will be opening the Cottage to the public from 10-4pm, as well as offering two guided presentations of the space at 11am and 1pm, and a free first-come first-served performance at 3pm. Saturday’s performance will be Puppet Time at the Swedish Cottage: A Family-Friendly Puppet Slam, featuring four styles of puppetry – shadow puppets, tabletop puppets, blacklight puppets and marionettes. Sunday’s performance will be a showing of the original production Wake Up, Daisy! Come see original marionette puppets, learn what it’s like to be a professional puppeteer, and experience this architectural gem in the heart of Central Park.
