New York Cares Coat Drive

Hey Queens! From cuisine to culture, you’re one of the most diverse places on earth, but too many of our neighbors are going without a warm coat this season. In reality, a total of 1.4 million New Yorkers, including one in five children, are currently living in poverty. The New York Cares annual Coat Drive is in full swing, and we need your help to ensure your fellow New Yorkers have food in their stomachs and a coat on their backs.

When you donate $25, a New Yorker in need gets a brand new coat + 10 nutritious meals.

Donate a coat to a drop-off site near you and you know that what kept you warm last season has plenty of warmth left.

Last year,  we distributed more than 63,000 coats and 260,000 meals to New Yorkers in need through our Coat Drive. We’re on a mission to provide another 60,000 coats this season with a goal of more than 9,000 distributed to New Yorkers in Queens. Will you help us warm up New York, inside and out?
