Afua Kafi-Akua is a multidisciplinary exhibiting artist, educator, and curator. She co-produced the documentary JUST BECAUSE OF WHO WE ARE, about violence against lesbians, which aired on PBS. She recently co-curated the VR gallery exhibition ANCESTRAL FUTURISM: UNAPOLOGETICALLY MELANATED in collaboration with Oculus and Alliance for Media Arts + Culture.

Alexis Clements is a writer and filmmaker based in Brooklyn. Their work has been shown in group exhibitions at the Center for Fine Art Photography USA; The Berlin Biennale; and screened in film programs at Doc NYC; British Film Institute’s LGBT Film Festival, among more.
