MOCACreate: Shadow Stories (Presented by Museum of Chinese in America)

Paint, build, craft, and collage with MOCA! Inspired by the celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival, create shadow puppets of moon goddess Chang ‘Er and legendary archer Hou Yi. Together, participants will experiment with diverse processes of making art, explore personal and collective experiences, and connect with each other through meaningful, hands-on activities. During drop-in MOCACREATE workshops, MOCA educators will lead families through arts and crafts steeped in Chinese American history and culture. This is a program for ages 5-12, all are welcome.
