Marble Church will team up with Kaleidoscope Ministries to commemorate World AIDS Day during a festive evening of community, worship, Christmas carols and hymns on Friday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m. in Marble’s historic Sanctuary at 1 W. 29th Street.

Led by acclaimed Taiwanese-American musician, filmmaker and public theologian, SueAnn Shiah, the evening, in collaboration with GIFTS, Marble’s LGBTQIA+ ministry, will lift up the resilience of the queer community as we kick off the Advent season together.

Shiah’s latest album, “A Liturgy for the Perseverance of the Saints,” is available on all platforms, and she promises to bring along a few special guests to help ring in the season.

The event is FREE, but a suggested donation of $10 will benefit the  SLANTS Foundation, an organization dedicated to changing culture using arts and activism and amplifying underrepresented voices, especially in the Asian-American community.
