Lavender Soiree for North Fork Women

North Fork Women hosts its annual Labor Day Benefit, the Lavender Soiree, honoring the legacy of the Lavender Menace who fought for lesbian visibility and rights during the women’s rights movement and celebrating the power of sapphic women and community. Evening includes passed hors d’oeuvres, a catered buffet, music, and fundraising to support medical and emergency grants for queer women in the community facing financial barriers, disability, illness, crisis, or aging and in need of assistance for medical life alerts or underinsurance.
