How We Do: Freedom Rising Against Fascism

On Saturday, September 14, V-Day will host a daylong educational and inspirational event designed to equip attendees with essential knowledge, strategies, solidarity, and motivation to confront the growing threat of fascism as the 2024 presidential election looms.  ‘HOW WE DO FREEDOM: Rising Against Fascism’ will feature a diverse lineup of speakers who will explore the manifestations of fascism both in the U.S. and worldwide and provide guidance on leading the fight against it. Speakers will cover topics such as reproductive freedom, racism, LGBTQ+ rights, books bans, immigration bans, union posting, increased policing and climate change.

The event aims to educate and discuss the imminent threats to American rights and freedoms, particularly for those in marginalized communities, and arm participants with the tools, resources, and inspiration necessary to counteract fascism and champion a more equitable and liberated country.
