Flatbush Monthly Craft Circle – Basic Mending

Join Flatbush Library’s monthly craft circle for a chance to unwind, chat with neighbors and get crafty! We meet on the second Tuesday of each month to try out a new technique or project together. All levels are welcome, from beginner to expert. Come learn something new and enjoy the company of fellow crafters. We’ll also have a selection of craft and art books available for you to check out and take home.  
In January, we’ll be focusing on all things mending. Come learn basic techniques for how to mend and darn your favorite clothes. Please bring an article of clothing (a sock, a shirt, etc.) you’d like to practice with. A librarian will be on hand to explain some basic techniques and we’ll have needles, thread and fabric patches available.
Masks and registration are encouraged but not required.
