Computer Basics Classes (JAMAICA BAY)

The Computer Basic classes will be held in the morning for 45 minutes (11 AM – 11:45 AM).  Please check the branch calendar for specific dates & times. 

Mondays in October, centered on learning about computer components, including mouse skills, the keyboard, opening and shutting application icons, and launching a web browser. 
Mondays in November, centered on learning about the internet, various types of email such as Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo Mail, creating an email, and using Google services. 
Mondays in December, centered on learning about Microsoft applications: Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Word.
