BROADWAY GOES BLUE
Join us for an intimate evening of Broadway performances to raise essential funds for pro-LGBTQ+ Democratic candidates in five critical House races across the country—races where your support can help defeat anti-LGBTQ+ candidates and flip the House blue.
Just five states—Missouri, Florida, New Hampshire, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Kansas—are responsible for over 25% of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation. Republican lawmakers in these states believe attacking LGBTQ+ people boosts their popularity. Let’s prove them wrong. Oath has identified five key candidates who have the potential to flip anti-LGBTQ+ majorities or break Republican supermajorities. By supporting this event, you’re contributing to a targeted effort to counter far-right extremism and demand accountability.
All ticket proceeds will be evenly distributed to the top five candidates on Oath’s LGBTQ+ Equality Recipients list.
And where better to take a stand against anti-queer extremism than at a queer bar? Join hosts Chris Metzger-Timson and Jackie Cox from RuPaul’s Drag Race at VERS for an unforgettable evening, featuring performances by Broadway stars including:
– Isabelle McCalla (*Water for Elephants*)
– Morgan Wood (*Hamilton*)
– Kyle Taylor Parker (*Kinky Boots*)
– Natalie Joy Johnson (*Lempicka*)
– Kelsee Kimmel (*SIX*)
– John Riddle (*Phantom of the Opera*)
The night also features music by DJ Robert Maril, plus Oath’s own Brian Derrick, and more.
Schedule:
– 6–7 PM: Cocktail Hour
– 7–8 PM: Performances
– 8–9 PM: Mingling and more
