Be a Forest Superhero: Forest Restoration Workshop
This is the 316th monthly workshop for volunteers helping keep invasive species from overcoming our forests. Volunteers meet at the Mount Moses parking lot at the corner of Rockland and Manor (usually park along Meisner Road opposite the Bluebelt pond). Volunteers will cut invasive woody vines and invasive devil’s walking stick. Protectors will provide gloves, tools and refreshments. Please register at Eventbrite.com (search for Protectors of Pine Oak Woods and select this Forest Restoration Workshop date from the list). Directions to the locations can be found by following this link: https://www.google.com/maps?q=Rockland+Avenue+and+Manor+Road,+Staten+Island,+NY
