This Good Friday, Kollective366, in partnership with The Church of the Epiphany, is proud to present the original orchestral version of Haydn’s Seven Last Words. Over the past two millennia, billions of people have proclaimed that the death of Jesus of Nazareth on the cross was simultaneously the worst and best event in all of human history. It is precisely this duality of sorrow and hope, suffering and liberation that Haydn conveys with such brilliance in this timeless masterpiece.

Joining Haydn’s symphonic tombeau will be organ works by Johann Pachelbel and Olivier Messianperformed by Rebecca Ehren, as well as Gregorian and Byzantine chant performed by soprano Chloe Holgate and baritone Kreshnik Zhabjaku.

There will be a $20 suggested donation at the door for church members.
Non-church members should visit the link to purchase tickets.
