“A Flutist Journey” Adrian McGrady, Flutist

This recital is a celebration of music and life. As we all know; we have had to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic and it put life on pause for 2 years. In that time, in person events were few and far between. However we found creative way to make art art and to have that artistic outlet. Now that restrictions have been lifted I have been planning a very unique musical program for this event.

Now in regards to the music all of the selections you will hear on this program are outside of “normal” flute repertoire. While I give much respect to our musical founding fathers (Bach, Mozart, Beethoven) these selections are what I would consider to be the fruits of their labor. Because without them music would not have evolved into what it is today. Plus I will be performing pieces on 4 different flutes.

The cost for the performance is as followed:

Adults- $10

Student- $5 (With valid student ID)

And at the end of the performance the will be a reception to follow.
